Meet Our Team
Bill Rascher
Owner
Bill Rascher founded this company in 2005. He grew up in the family business and has always been interested in and enjoys the Plumbing, Heating and AC Industry. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout, acquiring his degree in Construction Management and Business Administration. He has been a licensed plumber since 1993, receiving his Master Plumbing License and Master Gas Fitter Class A Certification in 1995. In addition, his Master Steam Fitter License was obtained in 2002. Bill holds both Minneapolis and St Paul Competency Cards.
Bill enjoys connecting with his customers and serving his community with the expertise his team provides. Bill lives with his family in the Mendota Heights area. He enjoys hunting, watching youth and high school sports and spending quality time with wife Renee and kids. He is active in volunteering on committees at his local church and schools. Bill enjoys skiing and is a youth ski instructor. He also volunteers his time on the Board at the University of Wisconsin Stout for the Construction Management Program.
Tom Cihlar
Licensed Plumber since 2008
Tom joined the staff here at Bill Rascher Mechanical back in 2008 and again recently in 2014. Tom has been a Licensed Plumber since 2008. He has his Certifications in RPZ, Gas Fitting and various water piping materials (PEX). He obtained his training at St Paul College through Plumbers Local 34. The variety of information that is needed to complete the job and hands on is what interests Tom the most in this industry. He enjoys remodel jobs the most as the provide most challenging experiences, allows him to works with other trades and work to resolve problems that come up during these jobs. Tom enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include woodworking and fishing. Tom also volunteers his time with his church.
Steve Sindt
Master Plumber Since 2004
Steve has been with Bill Rascher Mechanical since 2012. Since 2004 Steve has been a Master Plumber, Warm Air Journeyman and a Gas Fitter. He obtained his training at Northwest Metro Technical College with a 4 year apprenticeship. Steve enjoys this industry because it allows him to work hands on with the trade as well as the tools. Steve is an outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. He also has an interest in Art!
Kathy Kelley
Office Manager
Kathy has been with Bill Rascher Mechanical since 2012. She is our Office Manager. Kathy enjoys working on office projects, human resources and works hard to make sure the office runs smoothly. Working with our customers and vendors every day is one of the perks of the job! She lives in Northern Minnesota with her family and commutes to the office as necessary but works remotely. Kathy enjoys lake living, anything with dogs, landscaping, and organizing projects around the house.
